First Class Honers BA Contemporary Craft

Four years ago I decided to change direction from teaching assistant (and previously nursing) and start something I had always wanted to do. I enrolled at York College on an Access art course. This tough, hardworking but fun and rewarding year provided me with the stepping stones to apply for the Contemporary Craft Degree. Three years of exciting art. I have learnt about jewellery, woodwork, blacksmithing, ceramics and much more. I settled on ceramics loving the touch, reminding me of a childhood memory molding mud pies!

So here I am setting up my ceramic studio at home ready to start a new chapter…
